This is the fall over server for META in case of a serious hardware or software failure. It also
serves as a platform for experimental programs we wouldn't want to run on a production server.
We use an Inferno Grid to replicate data. We have copies of
the data, mostly text, on machines in many places. Thanks to the grid browser from
Vita Nuova it's pretty easy to find a file on any machine
on the the Humanities data grid.
